For Libraries that wish to provide 'Blood
Pressure Tracking' to their patrons, Blood
Pressure Tracking for Libraries allows each
patron to create their own Single User Blood
Pressure Tracking on the Library computer. It
is a community service for patrons who do
not have their own computer at home or find
the cost of purchasing their own meter
downloading cable or even Single User
Blood Pressure Tracking itself to be
prohibitive. So the Library does all of that for
them.
More commonly, as meter downloading
cables are expensive, the Library can serve
as a  'meter downloading location'  for its
patrons. They may drop in as they desire and
download their meter using your cable(s)
and your  'Blood Pressure Tracking for
Libraries'  system. With
'Internet
Data Storage'*
 their data will then
be also visible on their home computers
running  'Single User Blood Pressure
Tracking',  as well as on all of their
physicians' computers running  'Blood
Pressure Tracking for Professionals'.

Libraries Model - Information and Specifications
'Blood Pressure Tracking for
Libraries'  requires very little in
the way of computer size or
speed for excellent operation.
It runs fine on Windows Vista,
Windows XP, and all other
Windows Operating Systems
since Windows95,  on all
processor speeds above 300
MegaHertrz,   and memory
sizes above 64 MegaBytes.

That is basically all Windows
PCs since 1998.

It does however at this time
require a minimum screen
resolution of 1024 x 768,
larger screens are fine.

Of course the newer, larger,
and more powerful your
computer and operating
system, the faster and
smoother  'Blood Pressure
Tracking for Libraries'   will run.

The hard drive space required
is a variable, depending on
the number of users you will
have.
Allow 10 MegaBytes per
user.
 Thus for 50 users, disc
usage is 500 MegaBytes. .

'Blood Pressure TrackingFor
Libraries'  runs very well with
just a handful of users. (
It ran
equally well in a simulated test
of 2000 users, each having 30
years of stored data
)

To use the  'Internet Data
Storage'   feature requires a
reliable, high speed Internet
connection with  full
read-write FTP access.  There
are occasionally  prohibitions
on these Internet  connections
if you are on a network. Check
with your Network
Administrator.  Ask if your
network allows full read-write
FTP access, and if not,  can
he provide it for you.  'Stand
Alone'  systems do not
present this problem.

However, both
'Stand Alone'
and Network systems may
encounter the problem that
your 'Internet Service Provider'
(ISP)  is blocking FTP activity.
They sometimes do this to
block web pirating. If they are
doing this ( ask them if they
are blocking Port 21, the FTP
Port ), ask them to unblock it
for you. If they refuse your
patrons can not use  Level
Healthware's  'Internet Data
Storage'  feature as long as
you have this 'Internet Service
Provider' (ISP).
